# Raseed > Raseed (Urdu: رسید, "receipt") is offline-first business software (an ERP) for small and medium businesses in Pakistan, made by Softapplic. It runs on the business's own Windows computer, keeps its records there, and keeps working without internet. Raseed is being built first for internet and cable providers; modules for restaurants, clinics and hospitals, and clothing shops are in development. ## Key facts - Desktop app for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). Business records are kept in a database on the business's own computer. Billing, receipts, stock and reports work fully offline. - The internet is needed only to activate a computer, to renew its licence from time to time, and to sync with phones that are away from the shop. - Android app for field staff (recovery agents). It works offline with its own database and syncs with the shop computer. - Web portal: sign up, choose modules, pick a plan, and approve each computer by typing the code it shows. - Sync: on the same Wi-Fi devices connect directly; otherwise peer to peer (WebRTC); otherwise through an end-to-end-encrypted relay. The cloud sees only routing information (sender, recipient, size, time), never the contents. - Softapplic's cloud stores accounts and staff sign-ins, organizations and branches, activated devices and their public keys, plans, subscriptions, licences and payments for Raseed itself. It never stores readable business data. - Licences are signed (Ed25519) and verified offline. If a subscription ends, Raseed becomes read-only with export: users are never locked out of their data. Softapplic can stop a computer's licence the same way, and a lost or stolen computer is locked and wiped only when its owner asks. - Money is stored in whole paisa. Financial entries are never edited; corrections are reversal entries. - Thermal receipt printers (ESC/POS) over USB, Bluetooth or LAN. - Built for older PCs. Design budgets on a 3rd/4th-generation Core i3 with 4 GB RAM and a hard disk: open in under 5 s, search in under 100 ms, save and print an invoice in under 1 s, under 450 MB of memory at idle. - Screens are built for right-to-left Urdu; the Urdu translation is on its way. Times are shown in Pakistan time. - Payments: businesses record cash, bank transfer, JazzCash and Easypaisa payments against invoices. Raseed subscriptions can be paid by the same four methods. - Raseed AI: early access, in development; designed to answer questions from the business's own records on its own computer. ## What Raseed does not do - It is not a payment gateway: it never receives, holds or moves money, and it does not connect to JazzCash or Easypaisa accounts or read SMS. - It does not keep a copy of business records in Softapplic's cloud. - It is not a medical records system and makes no certification claims. - Softapplic publishes no customer counts, ratings or testimonials for Raseed yet. ## Pages - [Home](https://raseed-website.vercel.app): what Raseed is, offline-first, data ownership, industries, payments - [How Raseed works](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/how-it-works): offline, where data lives, sync, the cloud, licences, security, money, speed, setup - [Internet providers](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/industries/internet-providers): ISP billing and recovery agents - [Restaurants](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/industries/restaurants): orders, kitchen tickets, day close (in development) - [Clinics and hospitals](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/industries/hospitals): tokens, patient billing, pharmacy stock (in development) - [Clothing shops](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/industries/clothing-shops): sizes and colours, exchanges, khata (in development) - [JazzCash and Easypaisa](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/jazzcash-easypaisa): how payments are recorded - [Request a demo](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/demo) ## Optional - [Full text of every page](https://raseed-website.vercel.app/llms-full.txt)
